A Moving Journal  (1994–2006), published and edited by Annie Geissinger, Joan Webb, and Paula Sager, offered a space of inquiry for the diverse and international field of Authentic Movement practitioners. The Journal embodied the collective spirit that was such an important phase of the development of the Discipline of Authentic Movement.

In the late 1980s, Janet Adler began offering annual retreat groups dedicated to the study of the development of consciousness within the collective body.
