Jane Okondo began her study of Authentic Movement in 2010 with Linda Hartley. In 2014, she entered a deep study of the Discipline of Authentic Movement, with Jane Bacon and Cornelia Schmitz as teachers, and Janet Adler as mentor from 2018-2020.

Jane offers the Discipline of Authentic Movement to individuals, small weekly groups, and two to three-day retreats in the UK and Denmark.

Jane began to integrate movement into her practice in 2000, with Emily Conrad as her mentor, and was authorised to teach Continuum in 2007. Jane practices as a registered Somatic Movement Therapist and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist with over 20 years of experience, and more recently as a Somatic Experiencing® practitioner.

Jane’s inspiration, and the ground for all her work, comes from finding connections to the mystery and unknown through experiencing the moving body.

She is on the faculty for the Integrative Bodywork and Movement Therapy diploma in the UK, Lithuania, and Russia, and on the Executive Board for ISMETA. Jane originally trained as an Integrative Arts Psychotherapist and has a Masters in Somatic Movement, from UCLan, UK.
